Our Founder: Caroline Bjälstam
At Villas al Sol, we are committed to providing secure and transparent property buying services for clients across Costa Blanca.
The company is led by Caroline Bjälstam, a certified Real Estate Agent (Agente de la Propiedad Inmobiliaria (API nº 1197). She holds a Degree of Master of Social Science with a Major in Business Administration from Södertörn University in Sweden. Caroline moved from Sweden to Spain in 2006, building a strong foundation in the banking industry before transitioning into the real estate sector in 2014.
Since establishing Villas al Sol, our focus as an exclusive buyers’ agent has been on supporting remote and local clients in securing properties with confidence.
We prioritise clear communication and trusted client relationships throughout every stage of the property search and purchase process.
Our Professional Registration
Caroline Bjälstam holds an official license as an Agente de la Propiedad Inmobiliaria (API nº 1197) and is part of the board of COAPI in Alicante. Apart from that she is also registered in RAICV, Registro de agentes de Intermediación Inmobiliaria en la Comunidad Valenciana under RAICV 0122, which means that she is officially registered and can operate legally in the Valencian Community.
This individual registration ensures that every transaction is conducted under the legal standards and security required for real estate transactions in Spain.

Our Professional Insurance for Client Protection
Caroline Bjälstam holds professional indemnity insurance through Hiscox Europe Underwriting Ltd, operating under Spanish regulations via its Madrid office.
This coverage includes real estate agency activity, civil and commercial mediation, arbitration, property valuation, and the management of tourist apartment reservations (excluding maintenance, cleaning, and claims arising from usage), in accordance with the requirements for Agentes de la Propiedad Inmobiliaria (API) in the Comunitat Valenciana.
This insurance is secured in association with the Colegio Oficial de Agentes de la Propiedad Inmobiliaria de Alicante (COAPI Alicante).

Our Role in the Community
Supporting the local community is an important part of our work.
Caroline is the President founder of the Rotary Club of l’Alfàs del Pi Internacional, and participates frequently in community service projects across the Costa Blanca region.
